Group Art Workshops
Who is this for?
My workshops are designed to ensure that everyone gets the most from their experience – acknowledging each person as an individual, in order to meet their needs.
I have designed workshops for all sorts of groups in all sorts of settings, including for corporate wellbeing.
In addition; I have a 8 years of experience with a wide range of additional needs. This included learning and physical disabilities, autism, and for the past year – a regular workshop for people with dementia.
How this can benefit your organisation
The focus is on providing an accessible way to enjoy being creative. People often surprise themselves, especially the people who tell me they are not ‘artistic’. It’s widely accepted that art is a great stress-buster – it is also a pathway to conversations we might not otherwise have. Put simply, art has the ability to bring us together within a shared experience.
If this is something you think your members/staff would enjoy, please get in touch with a summary of your needs and I’ll get back to you with ideas for discussion.
“Rebecca held a group mandala session for our members, to help them slow down and to be more present.
Everyone was really inspired by Rebecca’s story on how and why she became an artist. As working women with multiple commitments it’s hard for our members to catch 5 minutes, but the way Rebecca took us through our creative experience reminded everyone how important it is to live in the moment.
The session was professional and informative, we were provided with everything we needed to create beautiful tranquil artworks (or to just doodle if that’s what we needed). The members were so engrossed in their mandala art that time flew by.
I’d really recommend attending a workshop with Rebecca for anyone keen to practise mindfulness, especially those that need/want to de-stress.”
“Rebecca Bush (Bex) was invited to lead two creative workshops with the Godstone Evening WI. Two of the members were attending her painting classes and suggested she be invited to run classes for the group.
“Rebecca provided an online Wellness Art Therapy session as part of our wellbeing week at the Motor Insurance Bureau.
This session was so easy to set up, with very little preparation or materials required and with Rebecca’s knowledge and guidance not only did the participants end the session with beautiful mandalas but we also all felt very calm and relaxed.
Despite these sessions being carried out virtually, Rebecca was able to build a rapport with the group very easily and she went at a pace which helped us all to work at our own speed and be creative and mindful with our art.
I would thoroughly recommend these sessions as part of any wellbeing activity”
“ Rebecca ran a fun and informative session on Mandala designs at our WI meeting. Under her guidance, even those of us who consider ourselves lacking in any creativity managed to produce something we were proud of. It was a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of daily life, offering a therapeutic and fun escape into art which was accessible to all of us. I’d highly recommend Rebecca to anyone looking to unleash their creativity and discover the joy of art.”
