We cannot take care of one aspect of ourselves, while ignoring the needs of another; we are a whole being and so it is the holistic care of mind, body and spirit that shapes a fulfilling life of health and happiness. You can be successful and financially abundant (for example), but if you achieving that by living in conflict with your core values, it will eventually make itself known across other areas of your life. This is commonly experienced as physical and/or emotional burnout; our bodies are really good at sending us warning shots and unfortunately we are really good at ignoring them until our symptoms overtake us.
By understanding our values system (and where we trip ourselves up), we can understand our behaviour – we can make changes that dramatically improve our wellbeing and honour who we really are.
What happens in a wellbeing coaching session?
I listen while you talk, at your pace – I hold a sacred and confidential space for you to share what you feel ready to explore. It is a gentle process of peeling back layers to reach the answers that help you to make positive choices and decisions. I will ask you questions that support you to find the answers within, I will not tell you what to do; together we can unlock doors to answers and dissolve the unhelpful beliefs that create obstacles for you.
Here are just some of the reasons people ask me for support:
- Breaking patterns/cycles of negative behaviour / self-sabotage
- Feeling a loss of identity / rediscovering ourselves
- Self- esteem, self-belief, self-image.
- Understanding relationships and healthy boundaries
- Life purpose: careers, soul work, sharing our gifts…
- Financial health
- Life changes of all kinds
- Spiritual health
- Mid-life challenges
- Empowerment work for true self love
What qualifies me to support you?
I have been trained and mentored by The Chrysalis Effect, an outstanding organisation that specialises in the field of chronic fatigue, M.E and Fibromyalgia, and while I have chosen not to specialise in this specific area from a medical perspective I do have a strong understanding and many colleagues should the need for a referral arise. I have an ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) endorsed accreditation in Wellbeing Coaching and have quite recently attended Mental Health England’s ‘mental health first aid’ course. I have a wealth of hands-on experience in a creative setting supporting the wellbeing of adults with disabilities, many of whom have mental illness and mental health challenges.
I have been supporting others for almost 20 years, this has been across a diverse career history that includes performance coaching within the financial services industry and mentoring women in business, within the beauty sector. The coaching that I now practice is rooted in compassion and a deep desire to help others find, live, speak and be their most authentic selves. The term ‘live your best life’ is thrown around a lot these days – honouring our true self is where I believe our ‘best life’ exists.
More recently I have delved in to a deep practice and of self-acceptance as a midlife woman; womb healing, divine feminine exploration, study and so much more… true self-love for this new era in my life cycle. I am now delighted to be offering others support in their journey.
So having said all of this…
I strongly believe that we connect with the people we need to when we need to; if something I have written resonates – calls you even, if you have a tingle of curiosity, if you feel warmth and reassurance among these words – let’s have a chat. You will know whether I am someone you want to work with, after we’ve had a consultation /video call. You can ask all the questions you need to, in order to see whether I’m a good fit for your needs.
I am here when you are ready, until then you may like to see what others have said in the testimonials I am also attaching. Click here to see my menu of services.
